Spanning the earliest jazz forms to thriving contemporary creativity of today, this highlight of the jazz calendar features a line-up of international stars and the best of Scottish Jazz and Blues.The best international musicians rub shoulders with top Scottish talent to present unique collaborations, world premieres, Scottish debuts and outstanding musicianship - all of which contribute to the exciting Festival atmosphere.

 

 Major concert halls host the best players in the world: Roy Hargrove, Joe Temperley, Chick Corea, David Murray, Wynton Marsalis have all performed. The Festival has a strong track record with mainstream jazz: Dick Hyman, Jeremy Monteiro, Scott Hamliton, Ken Peplowski and John Allred are all festival favourites.
