The world’s largest arts festival with over 32,000 performances and more than 2,000 shows all packed into 250 venues across the city. The Fringe is open to all: anyone can perform and everyone does – from students to superstars.The world's biggest and best festival is an arts showcase for everyone from the biggest names in showbiz to the performers in the street. This Festival more than any other transforms the streets of Edinburgh city centre in the month of August, with buskers, street theatre and live entertainment filling nearly every cobblestone.
